Still another betting option in roulette similar to columns is the dozen. The difference in columns with this type of betting is that the roulette player either bets on the first, second and third 12 numbers of the roulette wheel. With the dozen bet, the first 12 number are from 1-12, the second dozen includes 13- 24 and the last dozen refers to number 25-36.
